Reno Omokri Tackles Buhari For Nominating ‘Who Is Who In Corruption World Cup’ As Ministers

Reno Omokri fired up his Instagram to go off on President Buhari following the released list of Ministerial nominees which according to him had ‘corrupt individuals’ on EFCC’s register.
The former Presidential spokesperson recounted how one of the Ministerial nominees, Timipre Sylva, was prosecuted by another ministerial nominee, Festus Keyamo. The Delta-born Lawyer eventually withdrew from the case involving the former Governor of Bayelsa State.
Reno Omokri wrote;
Do you know that one of General Buhari’s ministerial nominees, Timipre Sylva, was prosecuted by another of General Buhari’s ministerial nominees, Festus Keyamo, when Sylva was facing a 19 billion fraud case?
Today both of them will now fight corruption with Buhari! Just yesterday, a General was urging ‘repentant’ Boko Haram members to contest for President. It is almost as if CRIME now pays more than HONESTY in the new improved Nigeria under General Muhammadu Buhari. Reno Omokri tackles Buhari for nominating individuals on EFCC’s list as Ministers lindaikejisblog Reno Omokri also tackled President Buhari over the nomination of former Governors, Amaechi, Akpabio, Sylva, Aregbesola and Akume.
According to him, the list contained names of ‘who is who in corruption world cup’.
He wrote; AMAECHI, AKPABIO, SYLVA, AREGBESOLA, AKUME. Are we sure General Buhari did not confuse the list of people he planned to send to EFCC for prosecution with his ministerial list? Because this list just looks like a who is who in the CORRUPTION World Cup! Almost as if General Buhari perused EFCC’s register and selected their best 11!

Barcelona to sell three midfielders for €150million

Barcelona4
Barcelona are hoping to bring in another €150million in player sales this summer, as they continue to find buyers for Philippe Coutinho, Malcom and Rafinha Alcantara, ESPN reports.
Bids would also be considered for Ivan Rakitic, Samuel Umtiti and Arturo Vidal.
However, Barca are not actively looking to move any of those players on at the moment.
The LaLiga champions set a target of making more than €250m in sales in April, to help balance the club's accounts and fund moves for the likes of Frenkie de Jong and Antoine Griezmann.
So far, they have received over €80m for Jasper Cillessen, Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez, Marc Cucurella, Marc Cardona and Sergi Palencia.

Oyo Assembly Approves 10 Billion Loan For Makinde

Oyo State House of Assembly has approved the request of the executive arm to obtain N10 billion loan to improve infrastructure in the state.
The lawmakers approved the loan, which will be obtained from First Bank of Nigeria (FBN), United Bank Africa (UBA) and Unity Bank, during plenary yesterday.
Speaking on the urgent need for swift approval of the request, the speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin, noted that the fund would enable the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration to hit the ground running.
According to him, the state’s financials demand external source of fund to build good roads and other facilities for the people.
He said:-
“We cannot keep complaining about the financial mess in which we have found ourselves, because governance is a continuum. We just have to take responsibility and move on.”
