Barcelona are hoping they can announce the signing of Antoine Griezmann on Friday, if everything goes as planned, Mundo Deportivo reports.
No delegates from either club will be present at LaLiga’s headquarters, but only a lawyer acting on behalf of Griezmann to pay his buy-out clause.
The France forwards’ release clause dropped from €200m (£180m) to €120m (£107m) on July 1.
Atletico Madrid Chief Executive Officer, Miguel Angel Gil, however believes Griezmann agreed terms with Barcelona in March when his release clause was still at €200m (£180m).
Barca will also not make any announcements, until officials at the LaLiga offices confirm all boxes have been ticked by both clubs.
Griezmann, meanwhile, is preparing to fly to Catalunya, where he will sign a five-year deal to stay at Camp Nou until 2024.
United States President, Donald Trump, has approved the massive arrest of Nigerians and citizens of other countries who are illegally living in the country, beginning from Sunday, July 14, 2019.
The raid will reportedly take place in at least 10 major cities of the U.S.
The New York Times on Thursday quoted sources in the U.S Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as saying the agency will begin a “nationwide raid and arrest of thousands of immigrant family members who are undocumented in the country.”
The DHS officials told the newspaper that the raid will include collateral deportations.
The development is coming barely two months after the US government declared that an estimated 29,723 Nigerians who entered the U.S with either non-immigrant tourism or business (B1/B2) visas between October 1, 2017, and September 30, 2018, overstayed in the country.
According to the ‘The fiscal Year 2018 Entry/Exit Overstay Report’ released by the Trump government, this set of Nigerian immigrants refused to leave the U.S after their visas expired.
The report stated that 195,785 Nigerians who were given visas into the U.S were expected to leave “within the above window.”
Illegal immigrants who restrict their movements may escape the raid as the operatives are legally not allowed to forcibly enter a home.
Those specifically being targeted, according to the report, are those whose deportation have been ordered as a result of their failure to appear in court or who have continued to stay in the country illegally.
President Trump’s directive on the raid is said to be aimed at curbing the rising illegal immigrant overstay in the U.S.

The new Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr. Mele Kyari, Thursday disclosed that the petroleum price of N145 per litre obtainable in Nigeria is the cheapest in the West African sub-region.
Kyari, who spoke while making submissions on revenue generation before the leadership of the Senate, identified the low fuel price and smuggling as the two key factors hampering the high revenue generation of the agency.
“The N145 per litre fuel price regime Nigeria runs against the N350 per litre most of the other West African countries operate, encourages smuggling, which invariably affected revenue generation for the agency and by extension the country. It is even very difficult for us to make the petroleum product available at N145”.
The NNPC boss who added that Nigeria is not benefiting optimally from gas production, however, stated that as far as projected daily oil production level is concerned, remarkable achievement has been made with the 2.3 million barrels daily production being recorded as against 1.6 million barrels recorded on daily basis in 2016.
He assured that before the end of the year, NNPC would meet the revenue projection of the 2019 Appropriation Act
According to him, NNPC was working tirelessly with the customs and security agencies in controlling and containing cross border activities of the oil smugglers
Also speaking, the Director of Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Mr. Rufai Ishaku, called on the National Assembly to speedily pass the Petroleum Industry Bill, saying doing so will significantly transform the oil and gas industry and attract revenues.
On his part, Controller General of Nigerian Customs, Col. Hammeed Ali (retd.) informed the lawmakers that Customs Service has generated N653.3 billion by the end of June 2019, adding that N1.202 trillion was generated as revenue in 2018.
“We collected N1.202 trillion in 2018 and as of June this year, we have collected N653.3 billion. We will surpass 2018 revenue by the end of the year,”
He assured.
Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Services ( FIRS), Mr. Babatunde Fowler, in his own submission, informed the Senate leadership that in the last two months, FIRS has generated about N6.5 billion.
He added that by the end of September, the agency would have generated about N500 billion from its aggressive revenue drive in meeting the projections made in the 2019 budget.
In his remarks, Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan, told the executives of the revenue agencies that the purpose of the collaboration, was to gear them up in making more revenues for the government for effective and efficient budget implementation.
Meanwhile, the Senate has warned that the nation’s indigenous airlines could go into extinction if spirited efforts were not put in place to halt designation of multiple routes within Nigeria to foreign Airlines.

Dealing with the other women in your man's life can be quite tricky because it can either make or mar your relationship with him. Just because it is not an easy thing to do doesn't mean it is not doable
Here's how you can keep your love life intact without creating reality television-worthy drama with your man's close circle of female family and friends.
The Controlling Mom
Most mothers have a huge influence in their son's life and sometimes that extends into his romantic relationships. If you find yourself in a relationship with a man whose mother does not know when to let go and is always controlling, you shouldn't take it to heart. The truth is that her behavior is not a reflection of your inabilities but the fact that for most mothers (especially single mothers), their son fills a void in their lives and he is the man she trusts the most.
The diplomatic way to deal with the situation is to sit down with him and say, "Look, I understand you're close to your mother. I don't want to take that away from you. How can you also make me feel like I'm important?" Have him be part of the problem-solving.
The Sister-in-Law From Hell
Your partner's sister like his mother plays a major role in his life and they may have a close bond that you believe he should have with you instead. He may naturally think you and she will get along but in actuality, the two of you can barely stand each other. You even find it difficult to sit across from her during family dinners. News flash! You two simply might not click right now and perhaps you never will. She's not obligated to be your BFF. Being a grown-up means getting along with difficult people and humbling yourself to admit you may not deserve a Sister-in-Law of the Year Award either. But do your relationship a favor-avoid complaining about her to him. Making your significant other choose between his sister and you will always make you appear insensitive.
A Resenting Daughter
If you find yourself dating a man who has a daughter, it is only natural that there might be some friction between you and the younger woman. Your relationship with her father may make her resent you because she feels threatened but it is up to you and her father to bridge the gap. You have to understand that loving someone new in the family doesn't come easily as any relationship takes work. You can explore individual therapy and counseling as well as hart-to-heart talks with each other.
The Childhood Friend
Sometimes your man has close ties with someone he schooled with or grew up with and as such this other woman may have known your man longer than you and even remind you of this. You may see her getting too touchy-feely and because of their closeness, your partner may not even realise it. You help him see how it looks on the reverse side, he can see your point of view."
A 'Present' Ex
Seeing a man who is still in contact with an ex can get messy quickly for even the strongest of us, especially if a child is involved. Questions like "Are they hanging out? Are you invited?" will go through your head. Your man should be more concerned about making you feel at his ease than his ex and if the situation particularly disturbs you, discuss it with your partner.
The Close 'Colleague'
Seventy percent of business professionals have or have had a work spouse-someone they confide in on the job. It is essential you get along with your man's business partners. How to deal with this is to get clear with your partner on boundaries so it's apparent when a line is crossed.
