Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo, RMD, has written an emotional letter to his son Tega as he clocks 18.
In the letter, RMD advised his son on how to go about his life and make the right choices as he crosses into manhood.
He also advised him on how to treat a woman and even men whom he must never use his voice to intimidate.
Sharing on social media, RMD wrote:
Dear Son, Turning 18 is a big deal as it offers you the freedom and liberty to be your own man but you know you're never really going to be ever free from me right? Oh, just ask your Uncles, big brothers and sister -lol. I know how confusing the next few years will be for you as you straddle boyhood and manhood at the same time but I hope I have been a good enough father and steered you in the right direction. I pray for you to be a good man, even when people are not watching, that is INTEGRITY. I pray that you do deeds that will help others, even if no one knows you did them, that is KINDNESS. I pray you are quick to share not only what you have, but what you know, that is GENEROSITY. I pray that you treat everyone as equal, irrespective of their social status, that is RESPECT. I pray that you remember that every woman is to be treated like they are precious, because they all are, that is BEING A MAN. I pray that you never use your voice or physical strength to intimidate anyone (male/female), that is REAL STRENGTH. I pray that you're not afraid to speak the truth, even as a lone voice, that is CONFIDENCE. I pray you spend only what you can afford, and not be pressured to live for the gram, that is WISDOM. I pray that you do not glorify crime, drugs, alcohol abuse and other forms of debauchery just to appear cool and lit, that is UPRIGHTNESS. More importantly, I pray you remember that you're God's son and live in ways to make Him proud. Son, being 18 gives you the right to make choices but it does not absolve you of consequences so be careful the choices you make. Here's to an amazing life ahead of you".

Isilomo didn’t hold back her thoughts on each of the housemates especially Jeff who is currently the head of the house after being evicted from the show.
Biggies eviction came after Isilomo and Avala scored the lowest at a final challenge they were given. In total, Isilomo scored 2 points while Avala scored 3 points and were sent home on that note.
Social media was agog with Biggies decision to evict the two housemates and many called it fake. Sadly, it was real but you can never tell what Biggie has in store this season.
When it comes to music, there is no doubt that it is the gateway to the soul. Over the years we have seen thousands of talented singers rise up and deliver top notch songs. Speaking of upcoming artistes, there is one person who has taken the music world by storm with her incredible voice. Her name is Mercy but known by her stage name, Mrcyu.
Mercy was born in San Diego California to two Nigerian parents from Anambra State. She always had a natural pull toward music and believed she had a voice but wasn’t sure until one day, she decided to come out of her shell and upload a video on Facebook of herself singing in her room. The video went viral and close friends and family were shocked at her voice as she had kept it under wraps until then.
She sang covers and worked on her craft. She also wrote a song and shot a video “Barbie N Ken” and performed live at venues such as Catchone nightclub, House of Blues Hollywood, and the Viper Room Hollywood. She ended up getting invited to radio stations, red carpet interviews, online interviews and got her freestyle to Mayorkun’s “Mamma” played on radio and popular Lagos venues. She also performed live in Victoria Island and recorded her debut single “MRCY”.Her style of music is a fusion of RnB, Afrobeat sounds and pop. The talented artiste is still basking in the success of her debut single, MRCY, which is a feel-good jam. She writes to beats and freestyle comes easy to her. She has a naturally beautiful sounding voice that goes with her looks.
There is something else about her. She does these videos which are her freestyles of songs by other artistes. It’s an idea she calls Car Chronicles because she records them with a phone while inside her car.
She works only with the beat of the song and then freestyles to it. She creates incredible mash-ups of trending songs. A mash-up is a creative work, usually in a form of a song, created by blending two or more pre-recorded songs, usually by overlaying the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the instrumental track of another.

Once the two got safely into the car, Kevin seemed to doze off immediately.

The Super Eagles duo of Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem, were selected by officials of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), after the game against Cameroon on Saturday for a random dope test, Vanguard reports.
Both players did not return to their hotel in Alexandria with their team-mates.
Omeruo and Awaziem were picked randomly, as is the usual practice after such matches.
They later returned to their Helnan Palestine base along with Nigeria's medical team.
The two defenders played all 90minutes, as the Eagles dumped out defending champions Cameroon, to book a place in the quarter-final where they take on South Africa.
Argentina captain, Lionel Messi is likely to face a two-year ban from international football, over comments he made after their win over Chile in the Copa America third-place playoff, the UK Mirror reports.
Messi and his team-mates lost to rivals Brazil in the semi-final. The hosts went on to defeat Peru in Sunday's final.
Messi was sent off in the third-place playoff following a tussle Chile's Gary Medel, in which the former Cardiff midfielder appeared to be the aggressor.
But the referee gave both players their marching orders and the Barcelona superstar stated afterwards: "There is no doubt, the whole thing is set up for Brazil. I hope the VAR and referees don't play any part in the final and that Peru can compete but it looks tough to me.
"I did not want to be part of this corruption, we shouldn't have to be part of this disrespect we suffered during the Copa America.
"We could have gone further but we weren't allowed into the final. Corruption, referees and all the rest stopped people from enjoying the football.
"I always tell the truth and I'm honest, that is what keeps me calm, if what I say has repercussions that is not my business.
"I think that what happened is because of what I said [against Brazil].
"What I said last time perhaps came back to haunt me. With a yellow card that was the end of it."
CONMEBOL regulations prohibit "insulting in any means or manner CONMEBOL, its institutions or personnel", an offence that carries a ban of up to two years.
A two-year suspension would see Messi miss qualification for the 2022 World Cup, as well as the Copa America next year in Argentina and Colombia.
CONMEBOL released a statement of their own following Messi's comment, branding it "unacceptable".
The statement continued: "Said accusations represent a lack of respect for the competition, all the football players involved and the hundreds of professionals of CONMEBOL, institution that since 2016 has been tirelessly working to transparent, professionalize and develop South American football."
